As an award winning strategic marketer focused on driving world-class results in lead generation and superior customer satisfaction, Doug’s experience with high technology companies focused on Enterprise customers makes him a natural fit to the roll of Strategic Planning.
Susan maintains her passion for launching and marketing new products and creating brand value through innovative marketing campaigns throughout her 20+ year career. Her breadth of industry experience includes marketing within the financial services, consumer packed goods, fitness, and toy industries for Fortune 500 companies.
Brianna is passionate about marketing. As both a client and now as Strategic Director at Hansen Belyea, she has seen first hand how solid marketing can transform industries. As a member of the PSAMA board, Brianna is committed to furthering our industry and helping advance the careers of professionals in the Puget Sound marketing community.
Jill Jamison, CPA, provides audit, accounting, and financial advisory services to closely held businesses and their owners at Sweeney Conrad, one of the largest locally owned CPA firms in the Puget Sound area. She serves clients in a multitude of industries including manufacturing, hospitality, technology, commercial printing, waste management, nonprofit organizations, and employee benefit plans.
Durga is an enthusiastic Marketing Professional with a background in healthcare and life sciences. Her specialties include brand strategy, market research, marketing communications and project management. Being always eager to network and volunteer, she has a track record of serving several professional and educational non-profit organizations in various capacities.
VP Member Relations – Retention
Matt’s experience has centered on marketing strategy, loyalty, CRM, and customer acquisition. He has held leadership positions in marketing services, ad agency, and marketing technology companies. He is passionate about mobile technology, analytics, ROI, and college football.
Kim is a Seattle-bred Advertising & Marketing executive. She began her career in media, moving to the client side as a Retail Marketing Manager before spending the last two decades at McDonald’s Corporation as a Senior Marketing Officer where she led all marketing and advertising efforts for the West Division. She’s received numerous performance awards, along with chairing the Grants Committee for Ronald McDonald House Charities. Kim is now an executive coach and consultant focusing on marketing solutions for growth companies in the Northwest.
Karina A. Jennings
Karina Jennings has an extensive 25-year background in marketing, media relations and corporate communications with more than 15 years of experience in health care. Currently, she leads marketing for one of the largest not-for-profit health systems in the country. She enjoys working with smart people and building strong teams to accomplish important work, and loves to push the envelope by employing innovative and creative solutions to business problems. She is someone who is always looking for the next problem to solve and new challenge to take on and having fun with those she works with is a must!
Jay- E Emmingham
VP Website & Technology
Jay-E has over 15 years of experience in advertising, marketing and business development for the retail, energy, construction and software industries. A self-described data geek, she loves using data to support marketing strategy or to fulfill her personal passion for a cleaner, greener planet. She believes that smart data analytics can help organizations create innovative solutions to optimize their market outreach and better serve their customers' mission.
As a marketer, Tim believes brands should seek to add value, fun and joy to their customers’ daily lives and that marketing should engage consumers in unexpected ways. Tim is passionate about building marketing partnerships, experiences, and sponsorships that are relevant to the brand message, exciting for the customer, and deliver measurable results.
A Green Bay, WI transplant, Julie co-founded and served on the Board of the Northeast Wisconsin AMA Chapter. Since transferring to Seattle and the PSAMA, she created and manages the inaugural PSAMA Mentor Program, as well as lead the Networking Committee.
VP Collegiate Relations
Sierra Robertson is a recent graduate of the University of Washington Foster School of Business with a degree in Marketing. She has been an AMA member since her time in college, and now serves as the VP of Collegiate Relations. Sierra is the founder and content creator for Madison and Vine Consulting.
Bill is a B2B marketing professional with over 10-years of experience focused on construction professional services. He is passionate about volunteering and works to place volunteers in positions they find personally and professionally fulfilling.
VP South Sound
Kacie is an agency professional experienced in marketing, advertising and strategic communications. She has been involved in PSAMA for more than six years starting when she helped to spearhead the South Sound Special Interest Group (SIG) in 2010. Kacie spearheads bi-monthly programming events in Tacoma.
VP MarketMix 2017
Frank Chenn is a digital media specialist with over 20 years of experience helping companies develop integrated sales and marketing channels that drive sales results. As a founder of 3 successful start-ups; he has a passion for helping companies educate and train teams about their company culture, products and brand.
Loretta is the office administrator for the Puget Sound Chapter of the American Marketing Association as well as several other non-profit professional associations. She has managed PSAMA’s administrative needs since 1990.
Sloan has more than 10 years of global marketing experience in the U.S. and Europe in PR, advertising, digital marketing, market research and event management. In his free time he has lectured at London Metropolitan University in London on branding and digital marketing.
Merl joined the PSAMA board as VP of Collegiate Relations while a member of the Pacific Lutheran University School of Business marketing faculty. His continuing academic research interests are focused on services – hospitality (hotels, restaurants, travel) and professional (finance, legal, etc.), with particular interest in internationalization of such services.
Past-president of PSAMA and 30+ year veteran of the ad and marketing wars, Don has been a part-owner and senior manager of three national ad agencies where he successfully built national, regional and local brands that added over $1 billion in sales to his clients.
