Part of the mission of AMA Puget Sound (AMAPS) is to deliver quality content to those in the marketing community in our region. 2020 presented several obstacles to organizations that offer frequent in-person events, such as workshops, keynote presentations, and conferences. The AMAPS board of directors made the purposeful decision to move to a service-model organization, with a focus on delivering real-time conversations with thought leaders and practitioners within marketing. Other focal points are a pledge to increasing our efforts in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, in addition to an investment into Career Development offerings.
Therefore, we are proud to introduce the Coffee Talks Series – a new video series where our AMA Puget Sound community shares their marketing insight and knowledge. Each episode will cover a different topic featuring interviews from industry experts.

Maureen Jann is a veteran B2B marketer whose career in digital media has grown up with the internet. She is currently the Co-Conspirator + Strategist of Neoluxe Marketing, a strategy, content, and branding agency. Maureen has a Bachelor of Art from San Jose State University and her projects have earned her an MBA from the School of Failed Startups. She is a frequent guest on podcasts, a regular conference speaker and an author on blogs like Content Marketing Institute and Spin Sucks. In her carefully-guarded free time, Maureen loves to trot around the Pacific Northwest in her weird shoes with her daughter, husband, and wily doggos.

With a passion for strategic marketing, Julie utilizes her 10+ years marketing & 10+ years non-profit experience in her role as current AMAPS President. Previously, she was a co-founding board member of AMA Northeast Wisconsin in 2013. Julie holds an A.A.S. in Marketing from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College and a B.S. in Business Administration from Cardinal Stritch University, as well as multiple marketing certifications. Besides marketing, Julie loves baking, hiking, and goofing around with her husband, twin boys, and their dog.
