Why did you decide to join AMA Puget Sound? I recently moved to the Seattle area and want to meet other marketing professionals for networking and mentorship opportunities as I move into the next phase of my marketing career.

What’s one of your favorite AMA events and why? The Mingle Bells or holiday party in my last chapter was my favorite because everyone was in the holiday spirit and they raised money for a local charity.

Why is being a member of AMA important to you? It shows my commitment to growing in the marketing community and helps me learn best practices to enhance my own marketing skills while also sharing lessons learned with my fellow marketers.

What’s the one thing you wish others knew about AMA? What makes it unique? It’s so much more than a business community; the AMA is a community in the truest sense that is striving to be better every day. Whether its news, workshops, networking events, or community events, the AMA has always shown me integrity in a world where that’s hard to find. I love their commitment to ethics, which goes beyond compliance and shows genuine concern with protecting consumers and stakeholders.

What is some of the best advice you’ve received in your career? Never stop learning; the world is constantly changing and we must be ready and willing to change with it.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time? Skiing, hiking, reading, dancing, traveling, and camping are some of my favorite things to do!
