The AMA Puget Sound board members are volunteers and serve a minimum of a one-year term, from July to the following June. Each Spring the membership elects a President, President-Elect, Secretary and Treasurer.

JULIE LICHTENBERG | A Green Bay, WI transplant, Julie co-founded and served on the Board of the Northeast Wisconsin AMA Chapter. Since transferring to Seattle and the PSAMA, she created and manages the inaugural PSAMA Mentor Program, as well as lead the Networking Committee.
BRIANNA HOME | Brianna is passionate about marketing. As both a client and now as Strategic Director at Hansen Belyea, she has seen first hand how solid marketing can transform industries. As a member of the PSAMA board, Brianna is committed to furthering our industry and helping advance the careers of professionals in the Puget Sound marketing community.

KACIE LEACY | Kacie is an owner at JayRay, an agency offering creative marketing and strategic communication services. She co-founded the South Sound Special Interest Group (SIG) in 2010 and continues to lead the South Sound volunteer team in hosting South Sound events, which are bi-monthly breakfasts and socials in Tacoma.

RACHEL COSTNER | Rachael has over 30 plus years of experience in marketing and advertising as well as serving on the committees of the Cancer Survivorship NW, The American Heart Association and the American Marketing Association. For the last decade, I have worked in healthcare marketing specific to radiology with emphasis in community education and engagement.

MAUREEN JANN | Maureen Jann is the Founder of SuperDeluxe Marketing, a marketing agency in the Pacific Northwest. Her background includes two decades building high-performing marketing departments and a Bachelor of Art from SJSU. An industry expert and entrepreneur, she loves unusual shoes and pug dogs.

PAUL SUTTON | Paul has spent over 20 years in senior technical, sales, marketing, and business management roles within the software industry. For the last 8 years, co-founded a Microsoft software partner, Cireson. Paul is passionate in simplifying technology to help improve the customer service experience.
Collegiate Relations Manager
ADAM LUCHAY | Every day Adam strives to create value for key stakeholders — whether that is the customer, business partners, or leadership — to increase the prominence of the marketing function in his organization. He moved to Seattle in late summer of 2019 to work as a Marketing Manager in one of the fastest-growing departments at Amazon, Fresh & Prime Now. Before Amazon, he managed P&L and COOP for EV Charging & Battery Accessories at Walmart eCommerce in the Bay Area. Adam is a graduate of the University of California Los Angeles with a major in political science.

REBECCA ADLER | A highly trained ontological coach supporting clients in maximizing their personal and professional potential through a 1-on-1 partnership. SUSAN SAGER | Decisive Marketing Agent who drives company growth through creative and innovative marketing strategies. Skilled at analyzing market trends and customer needs to develop highly-effective and targeted marketing campaigns.

KIM “KIMFER” FLANERY-RYE | Entrepreneurial in spirit, creatively minded and service at heart, Kimfer is a seasoned professional with 20 years of experience with a diverse background in art, design, communication, training, digital marketing, brand strategy, executive leadership, design thinking and organizational development specifically focused on diversity, equity, inclusion, and culture. Her work experience includes multiple roles at an enterprise company like T-Mobile, agency work as an executive at Yesler, and pro bono work for a non-profit organization like the Health Commons Project through her consultancy, MyKimisms, LLC.
JANET DURNFORD | A cause-driven communicator, Janet has a passion for creating corporate strategies that embrace diversity and inclusion. She spearheads Corporate Communications at Global Credit Union and leads teams responsible for developing company-wide communications, community engagement and brand awareness. Janet is a graduate of the Leadership Executive MBA Program at Seattle University, an avid art enthusiast and volunteer at Second Harvest Food Bank. A serial sunshine chaser, Janet loves spending time with her family exploring, traveling, hiking and skiing.
Mentor Program Manager
CLARE SADLER | Clare is a global marketing manager with more than 14 years experience in the travel and tourism industry. Her career highlights have included launching the first A380 with Singapore Airlines, sending Oprah to Australia with Tourism Australia and bringing hundreds of baseball fans to Sydney for the MLB Opening Series with Down Under Answers. Clare earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from ACU and is a native Australian with history of success in Australia, Canada and the United States.
Mentor Program Manager
EDAN PATTERSON | Edan first joined the American Marketing Association as an undergraduate student at the University of Washington, where he served as the chapter’s Vice President of Membership. He is excited to step into the Mentor Program Manager role for American Marketing Association Puget Sound, and looks forward to connecting up-and-coming marketers with experienced industry professionals to foster growth, friendship, and continuous development for AMAPS members at every career level.
DEEPTHI CHANDRA | Deepthi is a high school senior who will attend Duke University in the fall of 2020. In the summer, she will be a communication intern at a civic organization in Seattle. At age 15, she created an educational media start-up called Eclipsnotes, which connects students to youth-run grassroots movements through leadership development programs, videos, and an online media platform. For three years, she has hosted TEDx conferences in the Seattle area. Deepthi hopes to work in marketing or management consulting in the future.
GERAD HAYWARD | Gerad is a customer focused designer with experience in multiple industries. He excels in translating business needs into compelling user experiences.
Social Media and Website Manager
SARA HAYWARD | Sara is a research focused marketer whose expertise lies in identifying trends in the rapidly evolving digital landscape. She is a champion of accessibility, an advocate for the customer experience, and committed to pushing the industry forward. Sara has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from SDSU. She moved to Seattle five years ago and loves the outdoors and hiking with her family.

Lori Jerome | Lori has been involved in marketing for over 30 years in the Seattle area. She has experience with national and international brands and has built her career working in several industries but is the most passionate about marketing in the building products and architecture industries. With a background in digital and print design she spent over ten years as a mentor and teacher for adults looking to change their careers and discover their creative site as a career option. She is a lifelong learner and teacher and is joyfully excited about her role with the AMA to bring new technology, forward thinking career development and learning to the membership.
