CityU AMA Professional Marketer Workshops

Whether you’re preparing for the AMA Professional Certified
Marketer (PCM) ® program or just want to brush up on you marketing skills and

CityU of Seattle is offering AMA Puget Sound members a
marketing workshop series showcasing their MBA courses which are also aligned
with the AMA PCM ® program. Come get an intro to these key marketing areas,
meet other marketers and start making strides in your professional development
goals.

When all four workshops are completed not only will you be
more prepared for the AMA PCM ®, the fees paid for these workshops can be
applied to the CityU marketing certificate or their MBA program. AMA members
pay $120 for each session with a discounted rate of $400 when they purchase all
four. Non-members pay $150 for each session.

MK526: Brand Management with Jim Copacino – TBD – Coming Soon!

This interactive workshop introduces students to the concept
of brand management and engagement.  We
will give you a taste of the course that provides understanding of how consumer
behavior and customer engagement influences the creation and management of a
successful brand along with brand engagement, the sales process, customer
relationship management, and how the customer accesses the brand. 

MK527: Consumer Behavior – TBD – Coming Soon!

The consumer behavior workshop gives you the idea of the
course that examines the consumer behavior process and what, when, why, where
and how consumers choose products and services. It explores how consumer
behavior is influenced by marketers’ actions. 
We will address marketing research such as research methodology,
question design and selection and the interpretation and analysis.

MK528: Marketing Analytics – Date to be scheduled in 2021 

The Marketing Analytics workshop introduces the course that
examines strategic decision models and marketing metrics. Market insight,
forecasting, data mining, pricing, search marketing analytics, sales analytics,
competitive analysis, and presenting the data are covered in the course.

MK529: Marketing Communications –Date to be scheduled in 2021 

This workshop examines theories of integrated marketing
communications which includes public relations, social media, mobile, content
marketing, traditional print and broadcast media and the influence of
integrated marketing communication on marketing strategy and organizational
effectiveness.

is providing a 15% tuition scholarship to members of the American Marketing Association’s Puget Sound Chapter (AMAPS). CityU has aligned
its graduate marketing course outcomes to the AMA Professional Certified
Marketer (PCM®) program. A CityU student may earn a Graduate Certificate in Marketing and be prepared for the AMA PCM® tests or choose
the marketing emphasis as part of their plan of study for the MBA program. Both the graduate certificate and MBA program are eligible for
